Dyneema (DSM) is the strongest and lightest fiber in the world and is used to stop bullets and anchor oil rigs. The Dyneema project is an innovative program developed to introduce the super fiber in fabric applications to game-changers and innovators in fashion, sports, and lifestyle.

We were asked by client Super Stories to visualize an integrated communication concept and to develop a new identity for The Dyneema project. As a critical component, a website has been designed showing success stories from global brands such as Toyota and Nike to creative start-ups that use Dyneema in their products. Special features include expert support and access to fabric samples that allow prototypes to be developed.

Premium look and feel


The website has a premium look, with long reads and interviews of trailblazers and innovators predominating. Videos and a clear explanation of the innovation program make the website complete and easy to navigate.

The Dyneema Project introduces super fiber Dyneema (DSM) in fabrics to an elite group of pioneers, game-changers, and innovators in fashion, sports, and lifestyle. We were asked by client Super Sories to visualize an integrated communication concept and to develop a new identity.

Dyneema is the most durable and lightest fiber in the world and is used to stop bullets and anchor drilling rigs. The Dyneema project is an innovative program developed to bring the super fiber into new markets. Global brands like Nike and Toyota to creative start-ups are creating ‘prototypes’ and new concepts that push the limits of performance, intending to highlight fabric innovation and generate interest from other pioneers.

Identity with a ‘stealth’ touch


Premium, innovative performance. Starting points for the appearance of the new logo for The Dyneema project. As a basis, we adopted the blue diamond from the Dyneema logo and translated it into a line version in black and white with a ‘stealth’ feeling. The font with sharp corners is futuristic and innovative. We have rolled out the identity to a website, a retail magazine, advertisements, and POS material.

Industrial ingenuity is one thing; outside the box, innovation another. This is usually the realm of creative start-ups, trailblazers who operate under the corporate radar. Their Dyneema applications in fabrics range from bulletproof suits to kayaks and motorcycle gear.

Visually engaging


The combination of bold photography and editorial design makes the magazine design legible and visually appealing. Trailblazers magazine shares stories from front runners in innovative fabrics and is a platform for collaborations between pioneering brands and factories. The magazine is published twice a year by DSM.
